Tag & Release Winners Announced

TBF is excited to announce the 2012 Tag and Release Award Winners. More than 7,000 tag and release records were entered for the competition and winners are represented from several different countries including Japan, New Zealand, Guatemala, and Australia! The winners will be recognized at the Annual Tag and Release Award Ceremony on February 15, 2013 at 6:30PM in the Tree Top Ballroom at Jungle Island. All are encouraged to come out and celebrate the great strides for conservation made in 2012!  Read More

Carolina Skiff and Big Game Room Raffle to Benefit TBF!

In commemoration of the Big Game Room's 10th Anniversary at the Miami International Boat Show, Carolina Skiff has donated a boat, motor, and trailer package valued at more than $23,000 to The Billfish Foundation to be raffled at the Miami Boat Show. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit The BIllfish Foundation and the winner will be announced SundayFebruary 17th in the Big Game Room.  Tickets will be $10 each and can be purchased online or at the boat show. 'Art and Billfish' Supports TBF

A unique fundraiser for The Billfish Foundation (TBF) was held in December by local young-artists. Students from South Broward High School exhibited billfish inspired art at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. Nearly 40 pieces were created from donated mounts from King Sailfish Mounts and auctioned off to benefit TBF. Read More
